Norwich University of the Arts at #GFW15
June is a busy month in the world of fashion and as a new wave of designers prepare to graduate, all eyes turn to Graduate Fashion Week to gaze and scrutinize the young bloods who are emerging from the university system.
The Norwich University of the Arts BA (Hons) Fashion course is still relatively new with 2015 seeing only its third year of graduates but with course leader Sue Chowles at the helm, the work of the students is gaining some serious recognition in the fashion industry.
The Norwich Fashion Week team went along to watch the selected NUA fashion graduates showcase their collections at the The Old Truman Brewery and if you follow us on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook you’ll have seen us sharing LOTS of images and film from the show which was very impressive indeed.
Three students were awarded places through to the next stage and at the NUA exhibition stand there was a flurry of activity as industry professionals visited to see the work closer and talk to the students about opportunities and collaborations.
And that’s not all, the NUA exhibition stand (created by Norwich based company Ideal Event Services) was awarded second place in a competition for the best exhibition space.
We can’t wait to see what 2016 brings!
