Introducing Happy Coloured Marbles
Combining riffs to jolt your body across the room and grooves to shake your hips to, Happy Coloured Marbles produce a brand of rock n roll that is hard enough for the guys and sweet enough for the girls.
A staple of the Norwich music scene for the past 3 years, Happy Coloured Marbles have gained a cult live following, teasing audiences with ever changing live sets, whilst landing support slots with the likes of DZ Deathrays (ARIA award winners 2014 ‘Best Hard Rock And Heavy Metal Album’). Having released their self titled EP in 2015, Happy Coloured Marbles have been chained and shackled to their makeshift home studio “The Dungeon” for the past few months, refining and cultivating new songs & sounds for 2017.
The band (Hadley, Kalman and Matt) state that the name “Happy Coloured Marbles” was conceived from the Ween track of the same name released on their album “Quebec”. Ween have had a big impact upon the band, it’s about more than the music… the guys cite “their constant straying out of any box put on them” as a clear influence.
You can see the guys live supporting EKKAH at Fashion Excess on Friday 17th March
