NFW17 Design and Enterprise Day
One of the core aims of NFW is to support and educate local, fledgling designers. As well as providing them with a platform to showcase their work, the Design and Enterprise has been organised to showcase Norwich’s rich fashion and textile heritage and to highlight potential career routes into the highly competitive fashion industry at a day of free talks, exhibitions, seminars and masterclasses.
The Design and Enterprise day is a free event.
A talk on Norwich’s International Trade in Textiles (1750–1810) will take place at 2.15pm in the main banking hall.
The Start-rite talk at 11-11.30am will be given by Claire Russell, Head of Design at Start-rite shoes. Read more about Claire HERE
The Drop-in masterclass with Paul Bayfield 1-3.30pm is an opportunity to have a short session with Paul who will be on hand to look at your work and answer questions you may have about being a photographer.
Dependant on numbers some workshops and talks will be on a first come first served basis.
